Abstract

Background: In the present decade, cannabis abuse has grown more rapidly than cocaine and opiate abuse. Cannabis has become more closely linked to youth culture and the age of initiation is usually lower than for other drugs.
Objectives: To estimate the prevalence of cannabis use, determine the factors associated with its use as well as to describe the patterns (types)of the health hazards among 4th year female students of the collage of education in Jeddah city in 2010.
